"Oops!... I Did It Again" is a popular vocal by American singer Britney Spears from her 2nd studio album of the same proper name. It was released on April eleven, 2000, by Jive Records as the lead single from the anthology, and the sixth unmarried overall. It was written and produced past Max Martin and Rami Yacoub. I Did Information technology Over again" was nominated for the Grammy Honor for Best Female person Pop Vocal Operation at the 2001 ceremony,[xiv] just lost to "I Try" by Macy Gray.[xv] The track was additionally nominated for the Favorite Song at the 2001 Kids' Choice Awards broadcast on Nickelodeon,[xvi] simply lost to "Who Let the Dogs Out?" by the Baha Men.[17]

The first performance of "Oops I Did It Over again" was on March 8, 2000, during the Crazy 2k Tour in Pensacola, Florida. In May 2000, Spears performed "Oops!... I Did It Again" during several boob tube performances, including All That, The Rosie O'Donnell Evidence, Saturday Dark Live, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Total Request Live, and the ii-hr concert special Britney Live.[37] The following month, she appeared in an boosted television special, titled Britney Spears in Hawaii.[38] In collaboration with McDonald's, Spears and NSYNC filmed a commercial for the fast-nutrient chain, where they lip-synced to "Oops!... In 2001, German singer Max Raabe recorded a cabaret version of the vocal with Palast Orchester for their anthology Super Hits.[46] Finnish melodic death metal band Children of Bodom also recorded a cover of the song for their album Skeletons in the Closet (2009),[47] while Rochelle released three eurodance hullo-NRG renditions of the rail.[48] Richard Thompson covered the song on his album 1000 Years of Popular Music (2006), and in improver included a medieval-style version titled "Marry, Ageyn Hic Hev Donne Yt".[49] [l]

"Oops!... I Did It Once again" has been featured on several television serial. In 2004, it was included on the soundtrack for the sitcom Will & Grace.[51] Irish pop rap duo Jedward performed the vocal live during the sixth serial of the British version of The X Factor in 2009.[52] During the episode "Britney/Brittany" for Glee in 2010, Brittany Pierce (portrayed past Heather Morris) mimicked Spears as she danced in a carmine catsuit while performing her later single "I'm a Slave 4 U".[53] The vocal itself was later on performed by Rachel Berry (portrayed past Lea Michele) during the episode "Britney 2.0" in 2012.[54] While on bout with her ring the Scene, Selena Gomez covered "Oops!... In 2013, it was reported that "Oops!... I Did Information technology Once more" and "...Baby Ane More Fourth dimension" has been used by the British Navy to scare off pirates virtually Somalia.[62] "Oops!... I Did It Once again" is referenced in the lyrics of Peeping Tom's 2006 single "Mojo" and Autumn Out Boy's 2017 single "Young and Menace".[63]

Anne Marie referenced the song on the chorus of her single "2002". Miley Cyrus' "Mother's Daughter" music video pays homage to the red latex suit Spears wore in the "Oops!... I Did Information technology Again" music video.

In 2015, Postmodern Jukebox covered the song in the jazz style of Marilyn Monroe, with Haley Reinhart singing atomic number 82. The video has amassed more than 200 million views as of June 2020.[64]

In the Tesco's British and Irish Christmas adverts for 2020, information technology uses the vocal as role of its "No Naughty List" campaign.[65] [66]
